The Finance Team is responsible for dealing with all finance matters for the main organisations on site and other subsidiary companies. Financial services provided include Management Accounts, Petty Cash, Expense Claims, Budgets and Grant Accounting. They also deal with all Statutory Accounting, VAT and Taxation issues.

Within Finance, staff in Stores are responsible for managing a stock holding of a selected range of consumable laboratory products, stationary, computer consumables and cleaning products. They are also the focal point for all deliveries to the Institutes and an interface for deliveries to the end user. Purchasing experts are responsible for all purchases of non stock products, capital equipment and services. They also negotiate discount structures with the Institutes main suppliers, source new suppliers who can deliver “Better Value” and can provide advice on products, suppliers and services.
